PS Aurelia Rono Attends NGAAF Empowerment Programme in Bomet County

Principal Secretary Dr. Aurelia Rono today attended the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) Empowerment Programme in Bomet County, reaffirming the Government's commitment to promoting inclusive development and improving the livelihoods of vulnerable groups through targeted empowerment initiatives.
The programme brought together beneficiaries from across the county, with support aimed at empowering women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of society through economic empowerment, education, and social support programmes.
The Principal Secretary commended Bomet County Woman Representative Linet Chepkorir Toto for her steadfast leadership and dedication to championing initiatives that create opportunities, uplift communities, and inspire hope across the county. She noted that such interventions continue to play a critical role in advancing grassroots development and improving the well-being of citizens.
The Principal Secretary further observed that the empowerment programme reflects the Government's unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive growth by equipping vulnerable groups with the resources and opportunities needed to achieve economic independence and sustainable livelihoods.
